The Wonders of Graphene, by Jon Cope

The Wonders of Graphene, by Jon Cope

Summary:
Two Russian scientist have discovered and fantastic material, made from the layers of Pencil graphite. It has just been known that it could possibly be used for commercial use too! It is very strong, like 200x stronger and 6x lighter than steel. It is also 20x stronger than a diamond. This is also transparent, and impermeable to gas. There are some drawbacks to this material, but there are ways to work around them.

Analysis:
I think this is very interesting. It's always nice to hear about new discoveries, and how they can benefit each person's life. I wonder how they will be used in the future!
