Boko Haram Cannot Crush The Spirit Of Children - Mila Fisher

Boko Haram is a militant Islamic group working out of Nigeria, whose purpose is to institute Sharia or Islamic Law. They have committed many terrorist acts, including suicide bombings and more.
Boko Haram violence has affected millions of children in many ways; some have been abducted and killed, others have been forced from their homes and schools. These children have been reported to be at least twelve years of age. Even though these horrific events have scarred many children, both mentally and physically, their spirits are not broken. They still hold on to their hopes and dreams, and to the belief that things will get better.
This provides contrast to how well off we live compared to some, and yet they still have not lost hope. This is a very important for all of us to think about, and send love to these children.

  1. I feel bad for those children that have to suffer and go through events like that. It's great how they hold on to their hopes and dreams. I think that everybody should have hope that there are better days. Hope is a strong word and a main source for many to pull from to get through hard times.

  2. There were also stories of some countries in the middle east suffering from their children being abducted and forced into boot camps for ISIS. It makes me heartbroken to think that children who should be having fund and should be carefree will be forced into training or even onto the battlefield.

  3. It's good that these children have not lost hope, but religion should just be something that helps guide you through life, and it should not be something that pushes suicide bombings.

  4. I can't believe children of such a young age are experiencing traumatic events like this. All they can do is hold on to their hopes and dreams, there are surely better days ahead.
