Unfair airline dress code by Jenny

United airlines puts a dress code for "pass riders"

This all began with United stating that women wearing leggings will not be allowed to fly because it is " not professional attire". There was an argument on twitter about this.

United stated that if people wish to enjoy the many benifita that come such as free travel passes for family and guests, should present themselves in a way that represents the airline well.

I don't think this is a very good idea, sure it's a good idea to come in a very samaged clothing piece or inappropriate clothing. But the fact that the passengers can't be comfortable while taking a long flight is not very convenient for them. Esspecially if they paid a lot of money for the tickets and if it's an early flight .

  1. Can someone please tell me how being on an airplane requires a dresscode that would be implemented at work? I don't understand it. I can't help but notice that they're targeting women and what they wear...when will this end?

  2. Most people want to be comfortable when flying, especially long flights. For women, leggings are comfortable attire.

  3. Fr like who in the world would sit on the plane and be like,"Those leggings are offensive and make me feel uncomfortable."At the end of the day people need to mind their own bushiness because how does a piece of clothing affect a plane?!

  4. I'm so tired of sexist dress codes. I agree that super skimpy clothes shouldn't be worn to a professional job like an flight attendant, but leggings are far from provocative.
