The world's hottest boy band, One Direction, has been given the honor of performing in Madison Square Garden. One Direction was created by Simon Cowell in 2010 on the X Factor UK. They were immediately a big hit, and was loved by everyone. Although the boys did not win the X Factor, Simon Cowell had signed them on to his label and gave them another chance. The boys then skyrocketed off their hit album "Up All Night" and their hit single "What Makes You Beautiful" was on top of the charts for a few months. They beat both Adele and Justin Bieber. "My biggest dream is to perform in Madison Square Garden, " One Direction member, Niall Horan had stated at the beginning of X Factor. Well his dream did come true. The boys have gone a long ways from where they have started. They are indeed making history.

I think that it is incredible that a boy band can come this far in two years. Even Justin Bieber had to take a few years to make his name known to the world. This just shows me that if you truly believe that you can achieve a goal, and you work hard towards it, it might very well come true. Although this may be a once in a lifetime incident, the boys' hard working abilities and how much they believe in their goals can be something that can be learned by everyone.
I wouldn't say that I'm obsessed but gosh their cute. Good example of cultural diffusion too!;)
ReplyDeleteNo. They need to go home, they're drunk. LOL . jk. I honestly don't think this is worth being put up on the blog. and they should have good artists performing.
ReplyDeleteThey're British. British belong in the UK. UK belongs in Europe. Therefore it deserves to be up on here. :) Haters gonna hate. :D
DeleteI'm not a fan, but if they beat Adele, then they must be pretty good.
ReplyDeleteI'm not fond of them as well as alot of other people, cruz, so I don't really think you could say they are loved by everyone. Because alot of people hate them too.
