3600 year old mummy-JULIA WOLTJEN

SUMMARY: Recently a group of archeologists dug up a sarcophagus with a mummy still inside. This mummy is said to have been a government official, in fact his name is engraved on the side but they have still yet to identify him. This was a routine dig in Egypt, but the outcome was far from normal. To find a mummy this old that is still intact is one of the rarest discoveries known to man. Archeologists say the mummy dates back to 1600 B.C. which was during the Pharonic period.

ANALYSIS: This discovery is remarkable and amazing. The fact that the Egyptians did this has served to be a great window into humans earliest known history! Long story short, thank you Egyptians!

  2. That's really cool!! I hope that they can learn more about Egypt's history through this discovery. If this has been dug up, anything else could still be buried there.
