Sochi Hotels are not the greatest - Anna Pickett

At the beginning of the Olympics, many athletes had a lot of trouble with their hotels. The preparations for the hotels were off schedule, so many athletes got stuck with poor conditions in their hotel. Sochi needed to construct many hotel rooms, so they had to try and get everything prepared by the time the games started.
I think they've probably learned from what they've done. All the situations that I've read have been terrible, but it seems like everyone is handling it well, and the employees were being very polite. Hopefully, future hosts of the Olympics will learn from this!

  1. I agree with you! It sucks that more focus on the Olympics this time around was to make it so flashy instead of make sure all the athletes were comfortable and prepared. The games were still amazing though, and I'm glad most of the rooming situations were solved for the athletes competing.
