Three killed in Yemen car bomb by Katelyn McLane

A bomb was put under an officer's car near Yemen's oil ministry, and exploded near the entrance. Security is said to be very tight there, and whoever placed the bomb must have wanted the bomb to explode inside the ministry, which would've killed many more people. In another recent explosion in Sanaa, two soldiers died, and 14 more people were injured. Yemen, home to al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, is believed by many analysts to be the most dangerous affiliate of the terror network.

This is very unfortunate news. It's great, however, that the car didn't get into the ministry before it blew up. My heart goes out to the family and friends of the injured and killed in both of these bomb attacks.

  2. This is so sad but at least the bomb didn't kill more people like it was supposed to! I could not imagine living in a country with so many terrorist attacks.
