Airstrikes in Aleppo kill at least 18 people by Bob Cummins

The government of Syria recently executed an air strike on rebel-held Aleppo, killing at least people, 5 children included.  On Sunday, President Assad's air force bombed some areas east of Aleppo, killing almost 40, and on Monday, they performed an air raid against Qadi Askar, Hanano, and Mouwasalat, in which they dropped barrels of fuel, explosives, and scrap metal from helicopters.  In December, they killed more than 500 people in two weeks.  This definitely shows that Assad is not interested in peace.  This fighting started with largely peaceful almost 3 years ago in March 2011.  Since then, more than 130,000 people have died from this fighting.
Assad seems like a sick little kid playing with his toys.  These air raids doesn't seem like very professional government action, they seem like terror attacks.  It seems like there may be SOMEway to settle this peacefully... maybe?  One strange part is that this has gotten ridiculously out of control, considering that this started with peaceful protests.
