The last known suspect of the bombing in Boston Monday was caught on Saturday after being on the run since Friday. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the remaining brother, was caught hiding in a boat in Watertown Mass. after he and his brother, Tamerlan, robbed a convenient store, had a high speed chase and bombing. Tamerlan, Dzhokhar's older brother, was shot and killed after officers stopped the two men from driving. Dzhokhar escaped on foot and was hiding until police found him Saturday morning, but Tsarnaev was so battered, he had to be taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The brothers bombed the marathon on Monday, but stayed in the city the rest of the week. The only explanation I can think of for why they would still have a large amount of explosives and stay in the city after bombing the marathon was if they were planning another attack of some sort. Police shot Tsarnaev in his throat and leg and are worried they won't even be able to hear him talk again. They have decided to deny him his right to remain silent because he is too much of a threat to our nation and we need to find out if there are any others hiding among us.
It's so sad that people do such crazy things and harm others over stupid things. I'm glad they finally caught Tsarnaev and I'm hoping we get the answers we need to keep our nation protected and stop future catastrophes from occurring.
