4 People Diagnosed with New Bird Flu by Sydney May

Sydney May

In China, a deadly sickness is beginning to develop: the bird flu. Recently, four new people have caught it, and two have died so far. With all of these people, there are now seven cases of this. According to my article, the many people who were around these four new victims have no signs of being sick at all. Some experts suspect that this means that the virus is not passing person to person, but rather animal to person. Doctors have to keep a close eye on these cases as animal flu's are harder to manage. If this flu starts affecting the poultry and wildlife, officials say that it will strongly hurt the economy and lives of the people in China. This article was written by Maggie Fox. The article was very factual, and I detected no bias at all. I think that this was written for people living in China or people who have relations in China so that they can be warned about a possible epidemic that could occur. I hope that this flu isn't as bad as they say it could be, and I hope that the people infected recover quickly!

  1. I had heard about this flu in Asian and Middle Eastern countries a while back. Maybe they can track the source soon so it does not become an epidemic among the crowded population.
