Explosives Found on Taiwan Train by: Rachel Devine

On April 12, six hundred passengers were evacuated from a high-speed train in Taiwan, that was heading to Taipei, due to some explosives being found inside a bathroom. The explosives, which were found in luggage that appeared to be emitting white smoke, had a timer on it that was close to going off. Investigators say that the bomb could have easily taken out one carriage, which carried up to 60 people. The police have yet to release any information about who could possibly be responsible for the bomb.

This is very scary. I think that we can all agree that the important thing is that nobody got hurt. It was a close call, but I am so glad that the bomb was found in time. I hope this kind of scare doesn't happen again.
