Some thing may forever haunt our dreams. Like t words "spider" and "face-sized" used in a sentence together.....
And yet here those words are, straight from northern Sri Lanka, where scientist say they've discovered a new type of giant tarantula with a leg span of up to eight inches. Grab your rulers and mirrors, because yep, that's about the average length of a human noggin. As if that weren't frightening enough. this particular spider was found living in trees. Anyone who's ever walked beneath a tree and wound up brushing away a tiny spider knows that some arachnids enjoy and arboreal life, dangling from silken threads to surprise unsuspecting trail-walkers. Now imagine one the size of a volleyball landing on you like on of the face huggers from Alien.
Oh my god....I don't even like regular sized spiders; if I saw something the size of my face I would freak out. Are they poisonous? I'm glad I don't live in Sri Lanka.
ReplyDeleteThis is actuallly terrifying......like i cant even begin to explain my hatred for spiders oh my goodness EWWWWWW

ReplyDeleteI almost died at seeing a wasp in my room recently. Now, a face sized spider?!?! I can't even....
Omg! I'm terrified of bugs ad spiders. That is SO scary!
ReplyDeleteWhat!?!? Why do bugs get that big!? I mean, sure normal ones are tolerable, but if I saw this thing, I would be on the floor bawling my eyes out.
ReplyDeleteThat's sorta really scary. I hope no one comes across one like ever.
