In this article Laura Smith- Spark of CNN talks about the French Senate backing up a same-sex marriage bill. The French Senate approved a very controversial bill on Friday, allowing same- sex couples to marry and adopt. The legislation has already been approved by the lower house. The upper house still must conduct a final reading, dates for that are still being determined. Minister for the family Domonique Berinotti explained this as a "beautiful victory." It is also said to be the biggest step for gay rights in France in more than a decade.
I think this is absolutely amazing. I fully support gay rights, and this it is an amazing feat that the same belief is being spread all around the world. I am so glad people are starting to accept gay marriage. They are just the same as the ret of us, gay or straight there is no difference. I wish people would realize is that people love who they love, and it doesn't matter who they are.
