Train stations get transformed By: Emma Wall

http://www.cnn.com/2014/11/23/travel/worlds-best-metro-stations/index.html?hpt=wo_t5

In this article it talks about all of the different train stations around the world that have been remodeled to look glamorous.  It talks about how train stations are stereotyped as gloomy and that people are trying to get rid of that by adding all sorts of colorful lights and decorations.  The article includes a photo gallery of the new train stations.

I believe that this is a great idea.  Nobody wants to go to a boring station to ride a train.  I wish that they would do this to our local dart stations.  It just enlightens the vibe and seems to make the ride a little less boring. I really enjoyed looking at the pictures and reading up on certain stations and how they have changed dramatically.

  1. This sounds awesome. I agree about the dart stations; they seem really cookie cutter and gloomy.

  2. I agree with you guys, it'd be nice if the dart stations decorated a bit! They look kind of scary as they are right now. And the bright colors could brighten someone's otherwise boring trip to work/school
