Songkran Festival 2013: World's biggest water fight - Jack VanGorden
Thailand's most popular festival, Songkran, runs from April 12 to 15. The Thais are armed with water guns and start off the summer with "chaotic water fights and nonstop partying". Surprisingly, the splashing of the water is a way to pay respect and wish people good luck. However, the fighting can be dangerous. A large number of accidents are recorded during the week. This year's death toll is 218. It is a slight improvement from last year's 320. The biggest cause of death was drunk driving. I feel like the fight would be fun but also dangerous at the same time!!

I don't understand why they wouldn't try to change something about the festival in order to keep people from being hurt.
