Teen suspended for taking a picture of the school's dirty water by Ashley Mendoza

In Michigan, a school teen got suspended, for three days, for taking a picture of the school's dirty water and posting it to Twitter. Apparently, she was suspended for inappropriate use of electronics in the restroom, which she claims,"  Every girl takes selfies in the bathroom and makes it their profile pictures. No one has gotten in trouble."Her friends decided to do the same, and the superintendent  finally decided to take action by making sure the suspension is not on her record.
I believe what they did to her was wrong. The picture was taken too seriously and the school board should have taken a more professional aproach.

  1. I think the school just did not want a bad reputation, I do believe that they wrongfully accused her though. Your evaluation was well written and had a good point too. :)

  2. The school was clearly embarrassed by the dirty water and decided to seek retaliation against the girl. This could possibly be a health hazard and should be investigated. Keeping the kids safe should be their #1 policy.
