14 People Killed In Fire At German Workshop For the Disabled - Rian Pettit

Fourteen people were killed, while eight were injured when a fire broke out in a workshop in Germany for the disabled. The center gave people will physical or mental disabilities jobs. Thirteen disabled people and one of the faculty's social worker. "The biggest problem this afternoon was the smoke situation," said Alfred Oschwald, another Freiburg police spokesman. It is thought that smoke inhalation is the cause of death for the fourteen people.  Over 100 hundred firefighters raced to the scene to subdue the fire. It was not completely sure how many people needed to be saved, but on average has about 120 people. The cause of the fire is still currently trying to be determined.

When I read this article it was heartbreaking, it was really nice that a center does exist that helps people with physical and/or mental disabilities though. I hope and pray that these families and people will be able to find peace and healing through this journey and the cause of this fire can be figured out.
