Two British truck drivers arrested with heroin hidden in bread sticks- Nancy Padilla

Two truck drivers have been arrested for drug trafficking in southern Italy. The drugs were found during a routine drug check by customs officers. The drugs were hidden in between crates of bread sticks. The police said there was a high amount of drugs, at least 40kg of heroin, which would have had a street value of £20 million, in the US about 25 million dollars. Bread sticks, which are usually associated with Italy, were made by a Greek manufacturer. The truck, which was seized along with the drugs, had British license plates.

I think this shows how horrible the drug trafficking has become recently, not only is it affecting the people in Latin America, which is what everyone thinks about, but its also happing all over the world. The crimanals are getting smarter, and no matter how many we stop there will just be more back out on the streets later. Luckilky we stopped this much drugs this time.
