Sarah Oviedo - Flood in England

There has been rainfall for four days straight in southwestern England. Many of the people were warned and were able to survive. There was on only one death! But more rain is to come. The people have been told to take advantage of the daylight. There has been about 800 homes flooded since Wednesday. Right now, the town is being alerted that the rain could last until tomorrow after a few hours. Many of the news being updated has even been transferred to Twitter and many are beginning to lend a hand to help. This shows has important technology and the internet can really allow people to pitch in, in any way possible. Sadly, more than 225 areas stretching from Cornwall through the Midlands have been warned that the flood could be hit there as well. I find this article important because it really shows how everyone is able to see what's going on around the world and able to help the towns and people who have lost everything. I've never been in a flood, so i'd hate to know the feeling of losing everything. It's good to see that others will be helping those who are expirencing this right now!
