Abortion Rights Protest in Ireland By Kira Bell

People are holding protests near goverment buildings in large cities of Ireland. They are doing this in favor of abortion rights, specifically in honor of a woman who died after doctors refusing to remove her baby even after they had confirmed it was a miscarriage. Ireland, being hugely catholic, of course has strict abortion laws, the likes of which are disputed because of the contoversial aspects of the matter.
I, however, am personally in favor of abortion rights because I feel prohibiting people to make choices about their future and their body is wrong not to mention the fact that children should not be brought into a circumstance that is not suitable for their happiness and survival. This comes partially from a feminist perspective but mostly from the arguement of human choice in general, so therefore I support the efforts of the people to prevent further cases similar to that of Savita Halappanavar.
