Post-prisoners get mentors?- TeeDee Simons

In london the justice secretary says every prisoner released in England and Wales should have their own mentor to help them 'get their lives back on track'. This plan would be coordinated by private and voluntary sector groups who would be paid if re-offering was reduced. Mentors would help prisoners get their feet under them again including finding housing and training oppurtunites. People think this is a good idea but they don't beleive it will happen because so many prisoners are released a year. Around 87,000 prisoners were released from July 2011 to June 2012.

I think this is an overall good idea, but I don't believe that they can find 87,000 volunteers and paid mentors for all the released prisoners. If this does work though, I think that the US should take on this plan too and maybe our country would soon become less violent and open more jobs.
