Flood in England Kills 1- Iris Hughey

Days and days of heavy rain have caused flooding in the southwestern parts of Wales in England, causing at least one death. A woman was killed in Devon Saturday night when a tree fell on her. The UK Environment Agency posted a severe flood alert in the town of Helston, where the River Cober was rising over its banks, warning towns across England to prepare for more high water. Also, over Twitter the Prime Minister David Cameron said the scenes of the flooding were "shocking" and that "everything is being done to help.". I hope that everything IS being done to help and that they can get groups of people unharmed by the flood to help people and families that are.

  1. Thank goodness it was only one person that died! It could have been worse. It's still sad though.
