Street Assault by Corsica Steding

As a 16-year-old girl was walking near her home around lunchtime, a man jogged up behind her and punched her.  She then lay unconscious on the sidewalk.  The attacker then jogged back down the street in Plaistow, London as if nothing happened.  The man had followed the girl for about 500 yards from her house until he attacked.  The girl was taken to the hospital, because she had suffered bruising to the head and cuts to the face.

The CNN Wire Staff wrote this article on November 21st.  Before reading this article, I hadn't heard any stories of people randomly hitting someone without reason, and then walking away.  This article was written to update people on the girl's condition.  This article was also written to see if anyone had any information on who the attacker might have been.  It's awful that the man would do this to a girl that he probably had never even met.  It goes to show how cruel someone can be.
