Artcic ice disappearance should be a wake up call By Heather McKay

The sea ice in the Arctic Ocean dropped below the previous all-time record set in 2007. This year also marks the first time that there has been less than 4 million square kilometers (1.54 million square miles) of sea ice since satellite observations began in 1979. This goes to prove the idea of Global Warming and that we are in act destroying out planet!

  2. This is horrible news! If this is happening now, just imagine what it will be like in the years to come! I agree with Iris, this is a reality check and a wakeup call to the world that we need to listen to.

  4. By this time you would've thought people would be trying even harder to prevent a global disaster, but not much has happened. Yes, there are organizations and whatnot, but not enoguh people are helping. Soon all of the ice will disappear and cause drastic changes to the planet.
