Michael and Thelma King were found stabbed to death in their St. Maarten home on Friday. An unidentified suspect was taken into police custody on Sunday and will appear in court Tuesday. The suspect is going to court only so a judge can determine if there is enough evidence to hold him, or if the suspect can be released. "There are strong indications he is involved in the crime,"says the Caribbean island nation's Solicitor General, Taco Stein, yet no charges have been filed. The victims and the suspect didn't appear to know each other, and according to Stein, "were not moving in the same circles."Topper Daboul, a friend and business partner of the Kings, says, "They were beautiful people." He then adds he is "still in shock." "They were kind to everybody."

It's so sad that people have to die in such ways. Being stabbed, I hope that the two of them didn't suffer.

ReplyDeleteI hate sad news about innocent people getting murdered. I hope the person who did this is put in jail. I also pray that the couple rest in peace. God bless them.... :(
