Driverless cars --technology/economy Robert swofford

The dream of a driverless car has been a huge dream for car retailers for a long time now. Would you believe it's possibly true now? Volvo has released 100 test cars with no drivers, to roam around and driver amongst people traffic and parking lots. Although this is a great advancement in technology, and even Sweden has placed gold on Volvo for transportation advancements later in the future, yet these are not 100% automatic, since these prototypes still require someone at the wheel to occasionally take control incase of accidents, or very narrow passages which the car may fail in. these cars are not said to come out until 2017 but the odds seem very good. Who knows, we might be able to get a ride to work everyday without there need of someone else.

  1. I've heard about these and think it's a really neat concept! I believe it will probably take a while to get all the kinks worked out and for things to catch on, but will eventually become a fantastic inovation.

  2. Well, I can't drive yet, and I don't want to drive for a short time, so I hope that the automatic thing can be turned on and off
