The other day the pope was passing by a woman with a crying baby. The pope stopped and suggested that the lady feed her, although she was shy to do so in front of the pope because some people believe it is unholy. In an interview later he said "
Give people something to eat! That woman had milk to give to her child; we have enough food in the world to feed everyone." Social media sites have reacted very positively to his statement.
I think this is great. The new pope seems to be more open and liberal than previous popes, and I believe some of his ideas are great. I am glad that he is so accepting and isn't judgemental about everything like previous ones. I also think it's great how he stands by his beliefs and acts upon them.
