Ten year coma prank by Zoey Crummey

Tom Mabe and his friend Jim Clark decided to play a prank on one of their friends, who had five DUI's. Not only were they trying to be funny and clever, they were also trying to get him to understand the seriousness of his actions. When he passed out drunk in his truck, they immediately transferred him to an office that they set up to look like a hospital room. When he woke up, the "doctor" calmly explained that he had been in a coma for ten years. The man seemed to be shocked and kept asking for his daughter. When they finally revealed that it was a prank, he began laughing and obviously didn't get the message.

I think that this was a great idea to try and help that man, although it obviously didn't help at all. Driving under the influence is a very serious  thing, and people should never ever drink and drive because the consequences can be devastating. I feel so bad for the man who was drinking, if he couldn't see how he needed to change after his, then who knows what he'll get himself into one day.

  2. Drinking while driving needs to be stopped. Maybe if they made the prank last for a few more days he would have gotten the message.
