Ukraine protesters topple statue-Andrew Tunell

In Kiev Ukraine protesters tore down a statue of Vladimir Lenin a leader of the Russian revolution. The protesters were angered when the president refused integration with the European Union. Tens of thousands of protesters have been interfering with the government of Kiev. Some protesters are now calling for a government resignation, and a revolution might soon take place.

This event could soon start more turmoil in Ukraine. Many of the citizens are unhappy and hopefully they will join the EU.

  1. I think these people could have found a better way to express their feelings without trying to cause conflict.
