small bomb in Ireland by:Shadden Hashem

Northern Ireland's leaders expressed Saturday a detonation of a small bomb in central Belfast that police said could have killed or injured people. The device exploded at around 7 p.m. on Friday in Belfast's Cathedral Quarter but no one was hurt. A warning was telephoned through to a Belfast newspaper, but police said the wrong location was given for the bomb which was left on a sidewalk by a busy restaurant and occured as police were clearing buildings. Chief Superintendent Alan McCrum said, "Those who carried out this attack have nothing to offer except disruption and destruction."
This is terrible. I don't get why some people would have the desire to just leave a bomb in a busy area with many people. As McCrum said, this event was nothing but disruptive and destructive.

  1. It's really sad how people don't feel like they have anything better to do than throw a bomb in the streets. What kind of sick person would just do this for any reason, with the knowledge that they're going to murder and injure many people? I just don't understand.

  2. I'm guessing he got some kind of sick entertainment for himself out of this. There is something very wrong with this guy's head, because I'm guessing that he didn't have a specific target... he just wanted to kill or hurt anybody he could
