Political barbs fly amid Chicago teachers' strike by Karla Torres

"Mitt Romney implicated President Barack Obama Monday in the ongoing strike of teachers in Chicago, portraying his Democratic rival as bending to powerful teachers' unions at the expense of parents and students." - CNN
Mitt Romney believes that having fewer teachers and more students is the solution to education challenges while many others disagree. Others believe that this makes it even more difficult for teachers to teach and students to learn. A person who disagrees with Romney is our president, Obama, he believes that smaller classes help students learn more because teachers can interact more with the students which is more likely to help the students learn even more.  I agree with Obama, I believe that smaller class sizes and more teachers can create a better learning environment for students.  Ben LaBolt who is Obama's press secretary posted this on twitter in an attempt to make fun of Romney "Chuckles across Chicago as Romney tries to reinvent himself as the city's biggest cheerleader after attacking it for the past year."
