Shell proceeds with carbon capture and store project by Heather McKay

In hopes of reducing greenhouse gas emissions, Shell plans to begin a project to capture and store carbon dioxide emissions 1.2 miles underground.  They will be capturing over 1 million tones each year and while Shell continues to believe the project will be helpful to the environment, others have different opinions. Keith Stewart believes that the funds being made available for this project could be put to better use by "manufacturing cars that use less gas, cost consumers less money, or a source of power like wind or solar." Regardless, i agree with Shell and they will continue with this project.
