Ann. J Curley, who is a Medical Assignment Manager for CNN, recently wrote an article informing people in the U.S. about the updated news on the West Nile Virus. The article gives numorous information about the lives at risk in Texas, South Dakota, Mississippi, Michigan and Louisiana. Many lives have been taken away, and her goal is to keep as many people informed on how to avoid this virus. This is not only serious, but life threatening for any human in the U.S. Many doctors are working hard to not only cure the people already diagnosed, but prevent this life taking sickness. This article can be not only negative, but positive because it gives helpful information on ways to be protected and keep away from a serious disease. The negative side, is being informed about the people going through this horrible condition this disease carries, but the families dealing with sorrow for the person being put through that. I will need to be more aware of my health when it comes to being outdoors and keeping in mind that at any bite is a chance of getting this horrible disease. U.S. citizens need to take this information into consideration and be careful while being outside during dusk or dawn. I've heard about this disease, and my cousin was almost diagnosed with this disease but I pray that families that are having to deal with this, and those who are facing the disease get well soon, and that god is with them through it all!!

I think it would be helpful for a doctor to visit the school and talk more about the disease because not many students know much about the disease except that it can be harmful. It would also be good to know how to prevent getting the disease.
