Principal killed in grenade, gun attack on Pakistinian school- Joseph Katinas
A principal died and 8 others were injured in a gun and grenade attack on a school in Karachi, Pakistan, a police officer said on Sunday.
An unidentified motorcyclist threw the hand grenade at the private middle school, and then drove off while firing several shots.
The school principal, Abdul Rasheed was badly hurt and later passed away due to his injuries.
The eight others were meanwhile transferred to a nearby hospital. They included a teacher and seven sisters.
This isn't the first time this has happened. This school year has been particularly deadly for schools in Pakistan. There were serious attacks in January and February too.
Apparently, according to one man, the attack was a cowardly one on innocent children.
He says that the targeting of school children, including girls, reflecting the brutally of terrorists.
I find this article sad. There's always so much violence in this area of the world and it's even worse that they are killing children.

Anyone have any idea what could have inspired/provoked these attacks?
