A Flight Threat in Philadelphia

On September 6th, a man named Christopher Shell, was accused of having a "liquid explosive" which caused an US Airways flight to Dallas to return back to Philadelphia. As soon as the plane landed the swat team came and pulled Shell out of his seat and removed him from the plane. They checked Shell and the plane and there were no explosives. This was all a plan to seek revenge on Shell. His ex-girlfriend's boyfriend, Kenneth W. Smith Jr., made a phone call to the police saying that Shell had explosives on the plane. Smith was soon found and arrested. Smith could face up to 10 years in prison, $250,000 in fines and possible restitution. Later on that day Shell was put on another plane to Dallas and was greeted by the police again because of outstanding warrants.
