Don't Save Him - Max Gaddis

A man in Louisiana, Missouri woke up when his house was on fire and ran outside, forgetting his step-son inside. When he tried to go back inside to save his child, police stopped him, tased him, handcuffed him, and put him in the back of the police car while him 3-year old son burned to death. These policeman and firefighters say they were trying to protect him from going within the home and also dying, but why didn't they go in themselves to get the son? Or did they not care?

I think that they should've let the man go back inside because at least if he died, he would've died with his child instead of living with the regret of losing his child.

  1. Was the man a single dad, or did he have a wife and other kids to take care of? If so, going back in would send even more waves of regret to family and friends. It was a hard, but right descision to make in that circumstance.

  2. That's just all kind of wrong right there, but if he didn't state what his business in going back into the house was, then I agree with the policemen.
