typhoon in Philippines Andrew Tunell

This Sunday Hurricane Haiyan his the city of Tacloban, in the Philippines. The red cross estimates up to 10,000 to 1,200 people could have died from the storm.  There is no food or water and medical supplies are running short. Most of the hospitals are overflowed with patients and bodies are scattered on the streets. The storm also caused controversy between the citizens and the government because of the time it took for them to help repair the damage. Half a million people were forced to leave their homes and thousands are now homeless.

This is one of the worst hurricanes in a while damage wise they is a lot of destruction and the Philippines is not helping enough to clean up the damage. The Philippines needs help from other countries and the red cross with medical services and rebuilding. I think the United States needs to help them.

  1. I think we should at least provide food for them, if not help them in an even bigger way.

  2. They need help badly and we can give it to them, hopefully we do! Let's hope the red cross get to the wreckage soon enough that they save everyone that they can!!
