GIANT street art in Poland--JULIA WOLTJEN

SUMMARY:  Poland's building and walls have been transformed by a group of graffiti artists called Etam. The group of artists met at an art college in Poland and have been working together ever since. Most of their artworks have been commissioned by local city festivals so they won't be arrested and prosecuted. So now they can work without any worries.

ANALYSIS:  This is cool and can bring a lot of attention to Poland. these artists are really talented and I'm glad they found a way to express themselves....legally! Click on the link to see some of the works.

  2. This is really great! Usually you think of graffiti being destructive, but in this case it's actually art and improving the city. It's also great how they have commissioners, because it shows the general appreciation the city has for art and colour, which is a great example for the rest of the world!

  5. I love seeing graffiti being used as a creative and artistic outlet! It's a nice change from the type of graffiti you normally see.

  6. I love art (Other Mandarin- "No duh") and i love it even more when it becomes a part of a community. Theres one thing to have it framed in a room, but its completley a different impact when the art is free and apart of something.
