In New York a one billion dollar museum that is to honor the victims of 9/11  has not opened and will not open in time for the eleventh anniversary of that event. This has disappointed the families of the victims in the 9/11 disaster. The reason for this delay is because the mayor of New York,Bloomberg, and the governor of New York,Cuomo, have been fighting over who will pay and run the museum.  The delay has caused the slowing down of funds and donations for the project.  In addition the exhibits are gathering dust. Despite the many meeting between the mayor and the governor, the problem remains unsolved. This article was written by Charles V. Gagli and published on September 8, 2012. The writer is clearly frustrated by the politcians who cannot come to an agreement and feels empathy toward the family of the victims  I feel that politicians must put the people ahead of themselves  The sad part is when the politicians squabble, the victims are their constituents.

  1. I feel so sorry for those families that have to bare the pain and disappointment of this. All they want to do is have a way to remember and honor there loved ones who risked their lives on that horrible day.
