Every year refugees travel on a dangerous journey, thousands of miles, from their home Chinese province of Tibet to Nepal. With every year that passes the refugees are finding it harder to reach their destination due to the influence of China on their neighbors in poverty. Years before Tibetian exiles were captured and handed off to United Nation's High Commissioner for Refugees, but now exiles receive harrasment at the border. Just last month a Tibetian refugee set himself on fire in public to protest, but sadley died. Now Nepal is keeping a close eye on the 20,000 Tibetian refugees that reside in Nepal. what will happen to these Tibetian refugees? This article was very interesting and I hope to stay updated and hear more on it.
