"Dunblane: How UK school massacre led to tighter gun control"

On March 13 , 1996, Tomas Hamilton , a 43 year old Scout leader burst into the gymnasium of a primary school in a Scottish town of, Dunblane.
A campaign against owing a gun made a petition with 750,000 names and was handed to the government. The British public supported the ban for the guns. Some of the students know how the kids in Connecticut feel, and some like Andy Murray send a message to those kids  "My heart goes out to all those poor children, their families and the community in Newtown in Connecticut, so so sad." Is banning guns in the UK , helpful?
