The Nurse Who Took the Call- Teedee Simons

Last Monday a funeral was held for a nurse who took a prank call from two Australian DJs. They called acting as the queen asking how duchess Catherine was doing. Jacintha Saldanha, the Indian nurse, awnsered the call and gave away some private medical information. After she became suspicous she hung up, but the Australians had already gotten their laugh. People found her dead in the hospital living quarters. She had hung herself from a wardrobe and had left three notes within her belongings. The toes are disclosed to the public but her death is indicated as a suicide.

I found this information on CNN and Laura Smith, Susanna Polk, and Jack Maddox also contributed to this article.  This article was written today, December 17. The authors focused on the nurse and her death than on the DJs and the royal family. The article informed me on the background of the situation and her family. Tis article is for people who care about workers in the medical world and those who care about the drama in the royal family.

  1. This woman must have had other problems. What a horrible mistake on her part to disclose the information, but the DJ's were out of line to call.

  2. That is awful; the radio station should feel very badly.

  3. People really ought to think sometimes before they do things like this, but could it have really caused her to kill herself on that one note?
