"London Cabs to Offer Free Wi-Fi in 2013" by Elaine Hennig

Starting in March of 2013, London taxi cab passengers will have access to a free Wi-Fi service called CabWiFi. This will be one of the first offers of in-cab Wi-Fi, and London will be the first city to do this. The goal is to make Wi-Fi a standard in all London black cabs. This is a great advancement for travelers who want to avoid data-roaming charges, or for any frequent cab rider who wants to pass the time away during a ride. The service will also benefit the cab drivers, who have to pay high bills for using taxi-apps.

This is significant because it is an important technology advancement. This is something that will benefit many people. It is even more of an advancement because it can be provided for free! It will probably spread all over the world to many other large cities. This is a great example of cultural diffusion.
