Same-Sex Marriage in England by: Rachel Devine

Within the next year, British legislators are planning to introduce a proposal that will allow gay marriage in England and Wales. The Minister for Women and Equalities, Maria Miller, thinks that granting same-sex marriage rights will strengthen society. She added that religious groups would not be forced to perform same-sex marriages; they would have the choice to if they would like. Miller said that legislation would allow the gay couple to get married in "civil ceremonies" and would guard them against anyone who challenged the new law.

I think this is awesome. Marriage should be available to anyone, no matter what gender they love. It's nice to see that allowing same-sex marriages is becoming more popular.

  2. Personally, no offense to anyone, I don't agree with same-sex marriage. I believe that God made Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve, but that's just my thoughts......

  3. If you don't like gay marriage, then don't get gay married. I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be legal. Love is love.
