Gas prices lower for the holidays by: Milan Hamilton

The national average price of gas has dropped to under $3.25 a gallon. That is the lowest average in about 2 years. The average price of gas has dropped every day in December for a total of 15.4 cents a gallon so far for a month, that is a 4.5% drop in less than three weeks! The AAA (American Automobile Association) predicted that the money that people don't spend at the gas station could be used for presents, dining, travel etc. The gas prices are expected to drop throughout the month and possibly reach an average of $3.20 a gallon.

I could not really find anything to use as my current event in Europe and I figured that everyone would be writing about the shooting in Newtown, Connecticut, so I thought that talking about the gas would be a great idea! This is important because it is affecting us all as we speak. The gas prices are lowering allowing people to do more over the holidays with the money that they are saving. http://edition.cnn.com/2012/12/17/travel/gas-prices-aaa/index.html?hpt=us_c2
