Jews face down new extremism from Hungary's far-right-Alyssa Hamilton

Budapest-In Europe's history there have been many conflicts between the Jews and other people with different beliefs. Just look at World War II and the Holocaust. More than 500,000 Hungarian Jews were killed "and those left in Budapest were forced into two ghettos. When the Soviet Red Army moved in and liberated the ghettos in 1945 about 100,000 Jews remained, living reminders of a collaboration with fascism many Hungarians wanted to forget." It's only recently that Hungary's Jews have celebrated who they are openly. And actually one of the two ghettos the Hungarian Jews were forced into is now a thriving Jewish quarter, and is a huge tourist attraction. All of this has recently come up again when "A week after a leader of Hungary's far-right Jobbik party called for lists of prominent Jews to be drawn up to protect national security, Janos Fonagy stepped forward." He talked about how his parents and grandparents were Jews and how you're born into it but you  can choose and choose differently then they did in the past.
Personally I'm not quite sure what's going on the article was very vague, I just hope that we don't have a repeat of the past and that we, as people, have become more welcoming to those who are "different."
