First Women ever to Climb Mount Everest Dies at 77- Hannah Niara

Junko Tabei was the first women ever to climb the 29,000 feet high Mount Everest in 1975. In 1992 she also climbed what we know as the "Seven Summits. Theses seven summits were Kilimanjaro, Elbrus, Aconcagua, Vinson, Everest, Denali, and Carstensz Pyramid. Her last mountain climbing experience was in 2011 when she climbed Japan's Mount Fuji with some of her school students.
Junko Taebi died this past Thursday due to cancer that she'd been fighting for over three years she was 77 years old.
I think that Junko Taebi is a wonderful role model for people who are very adventurous and want to spend their time conquering things that nobody else would ever want to do. Also to be a woman and still be able to do this gives all women in this world hope to know that no matter our gender we can still do accomplish anything we want.
