Astronauts Ready for China's Longest Space Mission- Hannah Niara

On Monday October 10, 2016 at 7:30 P.M, the Chinese Shenzou 11 also known as the "heavenly vessel" was launched. This shuttle was launched from the Jiuguan Satellite Launch Center in the Gobi Desert. The two astronauts on board are Jing Haipeng and Chen Dong. These two astronauts will stay in space for 33 days. The goal of this mission is to spend 30 of these days experimenting with things related to medicine, physics, and biology in space. This is China's longest crewed space mission  ever! Things like this make me very happy. It's a very good feeling to know that therre are people in this world who are interested in medicine outside of the earth. I hope that they have a wonderful experience learning things that we may not know and I pray that they stay safe while doing it!
