Things that are banned under Ethiopia’s state of emergency
Activists in the country's Oromia region has been holding demonstrations since last November, and protesters from the Amhara region have also joined in. The deaths of at least 55 people at an Oromo religious festival on 2 October triggered fresh unrest, including the targeting of some foreign-owned businesses.
You can’t use your phone, watch TV, protest, no political gestures, there is a curfew, diplomats can only travel a certain amount, and no guns.

This is so crazy that people can protest and not feel safe because they could be killed. I think it is smart to turn all technology off and other stuff so that maybe they can find who ever killed these innocent protesters.
