Dinosaur brain by Victoria Valdez

More than a decade ago, a brown rock was found on an English beach.  It has now been confirmed that it is actually the world's first fossilized dinosaur brain.  It is believed to come from the dinosaur, Iguanodon.  This type of dinosaur walked that earth about 133 million years ago.  The fossil brain has similarities with the brains of birds and crocodiles.

This is really incredible and it was discovered in our lifetime.  There is so much that we do not know about the dinosaurs and we should never take the stance that everything pertaining to dinosaurs has been found.  We should still approach this subject as explorers of history.

  1. That is so cool! I wonder if this will make an impact on the archaeological industry. I'm excited to see if this will go viral.
